Hola, ¿qué tal?

Traduzco un estudio psicológico en el que se evalúa la posibilidad de reeducar delincuentes juveniles con el uso de virtudes a través de la lectura. Para ver si surte efecto se realizó una escala de virtudes que es evaluada en un pretest y un postest.

Se explica que no se realizó el análisis factorial a toda la escala, pero sí a cada una de las siete virtudes (subescalas). "Each of the seven virtue subscales was subjected to a single factor principal component factor analysis with no rotation. All single factor eigen values were greater than 1.0. This first factor analysis was used to eliminate items that were loading poorly on the single factor, and all items that did not load higher than .60 were discarded from each subscale."

Pensé en "cargar escasamente" en el caso de loading poorly, pero no estoy segura. Leí en una ocasión "saturar", pero no consigo otros textos de psicología que usen "saturar".

agree  Marcool (X): Yes, is seems to me that they are assigning a multiplier to certain factors, giving them a "load", and so ones that "load poorly" are not as important in the global result as others. "carga factorial (baja)" would be the correct translation in my view.
