crossing edge of the surfaces Explanation: powierzchnia "załamana" to dwie przecinające się płaszczyzny z których wycięto fragment powierzchni bryły. Odcinek prostej przecięcia płaszczyzn to właśnie krawędź. Cały budynek ma takich przecinających się płaszczyzn definiujących jego obrys od czterech (czworościan) do kilkuset. Uwaga: można mieć również do czynienia z powierzchniami zakrzywionymi, które po przecięciu też stworzą krawędzie (na ogół krzywe). Domniemuję, że chodzi o prosty przypadek, ale podany przekład jak najbardziej odnosi się również do krzywych. |
