Source text - German Ein Platten-Wärmeübertrager besteht aus einer bestimmten Anzahl Platten, die in einem Gestell mit einer festen Gestell- und einer losen Druckplatte zu einer Einheit zusammengebaut sind.
Die mit Dichtungen ausgerüsteten Platten werden zwischen Gestell- und Druckplatte zu einem Paket zusammengepresst, wobei sich zwei voneinander getrennte Kanal-Systeme ergeben.
Durch die Anordnung der Dichtungen (Feld- und Ringdichtungen) erfolgt die Durchströmung der einzelnen Kanäle so, dass jeder 2. Kanal im 100%-igen Gegenstrom vom Primärmedium resp. vom Sekundärmedium durchströmt wird. Ein Vermischen der Medien kann auf Grund der Dichtungskonstruktion nicht erfolgen!
Die Platten sind gewellt, wodurch die Turbulenz der durchfließenden Flüssigkeit erhöht wird. Dies trägt in Verbindung mit einer im Verhältnis zum Volumen der Medien großen Wärmeübertragungsfläche, zu einer besonders effektiven Wärmeübertragung bei.
Das gleiche Konstruktionsprinzip wurde auf die Wärme-Übertragertypen CB14, CB22, CB26, CB51, CB76 und CB300(gelötete Ausführung) übertragen. An Stelle der elastomeren Dichtung erfolgt bei diesen Typen die Abdichtung durch ein spezielles Lötverfahren.

Source text - English The integrated planning at the core of the Concept Plan accounts for the successful
adjudication of competing priorities and the efficient allocation of land for different uses in
Singapore. The Concept Plan is supported by a Master Plan that translated broad guidelines into
detailed implementation plans over the next 10 to 15 years. To retain flexibility, the Master Plan
is reviewed every 5 years. The Master Plan is similarly a whole-of-government effort
representing all the different interests of the development agencies and ensures that all
development is aligned to the long-term needs of the country. The core processes described
here did not emerge from nowhere but arose from a deliberate and comprehensive
organisational overhaul of Singapore’s land planning system and institutions during the 1980s.
