We restate the requirement that all web sites and web-based promotions for any of our brands must be hosted by Brown-Forman's West Main Interactive group and approved by the Brown-Forman's Legal Department before content is posted live on the Internet. This requirement applies globally, regardless of market or timing opportunity.
2. Promotional opportunities and branded electronic commerce initiatives using non-B-F or 3rd party sites must be approved by the Brown-Forman Legal department.
3. The registration of domain names for all current and future web site opportunities is the joint responsibility of West Main Interactive and the Brown-Forman Intellectual Property group (JDPI/SCPI/etc.). No B-F employee or agency is to register a B-F brand or B-F promotional domain. Any domains currently “owned” within a B-F office or agency are to be transferred to West Main Interactive as soon as possible.
4. It remains a requirement that West Main Interactive take the lead in specifying and assuring adherence to responsible marketing and privacy protection practices for all consumer data collection and electronic consumer communication efforts. West Main Interactive hosts B-F global consumer databases and actively manages data quality. West Main Interactive works with the B-F Legal Department regarding global data privacy issues and works with them to ensure that each country's data collection regulations are met.
