Dear Fellow Translator/Interpreter,
The entire team behind the Translation and Localization Conference 2013 would like to wish you a very successful year. And what better way to kick-start your business this year than to attend this highly anticipated European translation conference?
On the updated Program page at http://www.translation-conference.com/en/program-en, you will find topics that reflect all the important aspects of the modern translator’s life. Expanding your business to work in multiple language pairs? Getting familiar with a new culture? Understanding localization better? We have it all. We are also certain unexpected fresh ideas will arise during the event, so we have also made room for an ad-hoc debate, allowing these new ideas to fit into this year’s program. We will make sure that each new development in the industry is mentioned and discussed during our annual industry review. We have carefully selected topics that are fresh, practical, and up-to-date. You don’t need to take our word for it – just visit the conference website at www.translation-conference.com. We have already confirmed most of the topics, but a few more surprises are coming up within the next weeks!
We have also introduced specialist optional workshops, so you can now get specific additional training while at the conference. We would like to bring to your attention the Regular expressions workshop by Marek Pawelec: a must for each user of the latest generation of CAT tools that will save you hours of your future work time. Representatives of translation agencies and localization companies should definitely take a closer look at the workshop by Michał Kleszczonek: Application of open-source/free software and solutions in small and mid-size localization organizations. If you have ever considered introducing a machine-translation engine at your office, here’s your chance to learn how to do it based on open-source solutions. A most valuable session!
Last but not least: the Early Bird registration ends on 15 January. We made sure the conference fee is affordable, but this is your chance to secure your attendance at the lowest possible cost. Join us at this unique event!
If you have any questions, you are very welcome to contact us!
