• Las plenum de distribución de aire a quemadores (que en los planos aparecen ubicadas abajo del piso del horno) no existen porque han sido desmontadas en el pasado.

Actually, it is not my intention to start a discussion. My point is the term "cement trench" doesn't appear literally in Robb. Of course you're absolutely right when using trench as IMHO is properly used in the context.

agree Manuel Aburto : I've got Louis A. Robb dict. and on page 307 there are only 2 entries for trinchera: trinchera de préstamos and trinchera de aparejos. Do you have a newer version Joel??

As appears on Robb 2nd. Ed. pp. 307: Trinchera f. Trench, ditch, deep cut. -de préstamos (PR) borrow pit. I´ll be glad to loan my edition at any time. Thanks.
