Spanish term

Procedimentar

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
In a translation of a website offering legal consulting, I encountered this term (Castilian Spanish --> U.S. English):

"Solucionamos los problemas legales de manera metodológica, eficiente y procedimentada"

"Ayudamos en la resolución diaria de asuntos legales y procedimentamos tareas clave como la creación de contratos, etc."

My dictionaries do not have it and I have not found much help in Internet. I did find:
proceduralize - (Verb) To create a formal method or procedure for a vaguely defined process

So do you think the first one could be "...proceduralized manner" and the second "we proceduralize key tasks..."??? I don't see it used much. Thanks for your help.

I totally agree with Pablo

Need to submit as two different questions It's unclear which of the two words, 'procedimentado' the adjective or 'procedimentar' the verb, you want us to respond on, and as you can see, some colleagues have responded to one, some to the other. Remember, just because 'procedimentar' and 'procedimentado' are forms of the same word, doesn't mean the solutions to each will themselves be cognates or variants of the same term in English.
AllegroTrans Jan 31, 2015:
proceduralized manner not intelligible English, definitely something natural-sounding needed in place of this
jack_speak Jan 31, 2015:
It's a 2-part question: adjective and verb.
liz askew Jan 31, 2015:
p.s. why have you posted the verb "procedimentar"? when the word in the text is an adjective "procedimentada" i.e. "manera procedimentada"? oh ... you mean "procedimentamos"

Spanish term (edited): Procedimentar/ado

Procedurally refine/d or regulate/d

Procedularized doesn't quite make the grade of intelligibility.

Example sentence:

... medium forunrestricted communication and(b) procedurally regulated ones (like parliaments), which try to produce cooperative solutionsto practical questions.

That is because the "resolution" presented by the most procedurally refined formal litigation process is taken as correct,

I am translating as an adjective, "procedimentada" from the source text you give, and not as a verb.

Sorry, just realized your text does contain it as a verb as well (procedimentamos). I take this to be a synonym for "tramitar," in which case I would say "handle."
