I need some help with this phrase in the following exchange:
Speaker 1: "Bueno , pues, gracias."
Speaker 2: Gracias las que hace un chango. ( said in an annoying tone)
About the use of the expression I found that:
Cuando alguien dice gracias las que hace el chango es que no le agrado mucho o lo dice como broma de la forma de actuar de un chimpance.
In the context above, speaker 2 is annoyed and answers relunctantly.

in Mexico people used the word "chango" to mean monkey (mono, simio) are also used there.
