Japanese term

電流班

Japanese to English Medical Medical (general) Trauma
皆様へ、いつもお世話になります。

I would like your assistance with the translation of 電流班 - does this refer to Lichtenberg figures? I have a feeling it is something else entirely.
Japanese explanations that I have read have said this is 通電による流入創・流出創: Ⅲ度熱傷 but I'm not sure how to refer to this in English.

Source sentence for context: 高電圧の電撃傷では皮膚に熱傷や電流班、骨折等を来す事が知られている。

どうぞよろしくお願いします。

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "This term is the most correct translation. The current marks result from the electrical burn. Thank you!"

electric mark (burn)

The third character should be 斑.
Note from asker:
Ah, well spotted! I'll add a note to the client about this source text error...
Thanks for the response - I thought of using "thermal and electrical burns" (as per my style instructions ;) ) but went with current marks in the end.
Peer comment(s):

disagree sukiezhang : The correct term would be electrical burns, not electric burns.

agree Port City : Electric mark (burn) is perfectly fine.

(Third-degree) electrical burn

Ⅲ度熱傷 + 電流= third degree electrical burn
電流班 does not indicate the degree, so if the degree is unknow just use "electrical burn" (not electric, that's the wrong adjective).
If you want to include 斑, it will probably be "(third-degree) electricla burn scars".

Typo in the last sentence of my explanation: it should be "(third-degree) electrical burn scars" instead of "electricla burn scars."
Note from asker:
Thank you too for this answer and for your subsequent clarification!!
Thanks for your reply! I was going to use electrical burns, but when reading over the translation, I realised that this must be a different term, as electrical burns were already mentioned in the document as 電撃熱傷. I have certainly learnt a lot thanks to the different answers!

ありがとうございます。
agree Marc Brunet : would go for "electrical burn scar" for the damage suffered can leave a (permanent) trace
