From a Mexican divorce order. The plaintiff has been ordered to have a translation into English done of all paperwork and sent to the respondent in the US. Full sentence is:

: I think you have the meaning right, but I wonder if there's a clearer way of expressing "to the sole prejudice of". I think it means that the plaintiff will be liable for the consequences.

The ST says perjuicio, not consecuencias. Its more categorical than a simple liability - 'no translation' will mean Caso cerrado, sin más trámite!.

: Agree that this is the meaning, barring the "subpoena" as I understand "llamar a juicio" to be less compelling than a subpoena and more of a notice that proceedings are taking place.

I agree (+/-) 'more of a notice that proceedings' ... have been initiated against them.

he/she will not be subpoenaed to his/her disadvantage
This is my take, thanks.
Example sentence:
Serious consequences can occur if you fail to comply with a subpoena without lawful excuse, including contempt of Court and arrest.
If you do not comply with the subpoena, you may be subject to penalty.

: You have not made it clear which party will be prejudiced by the plaintiff's eventual failure to provide translations.

the defendant shall cease to be called to trial at his full prejudice.
No explanation needed....I´m just offering the translation I would naturally do. Cheers.

the defendant shall stop being called to trial, entirely to his or her own detriment
I suggest the information states
'As intelligence confirms, that on failure to carry out such a duty, the defendant shall stop being called to trial, entirely to his or her own disadvantage (even though it would be beneficial if he or she attended). Though it may be complete, a certain duty shall be returned to the Secretary of Foreign Relations to allow his communication to be sent to the relevant group, requesting foreign authority and co-operation in the practice and work of entrusted efforts.'

ESP:
'La inteligencia constata que, sin realizar las partes de las responsabilidades implicadas, el demandado va a dejar de ser convocado a un juicio, enteramente por su propia desventaja (aunque sería para su bien asistir al lugar de un juicio). Aunque sea completado, una cierta carga se volverá al Secretario de Relaciones Extranjeras, para hacer que su correspondencia sea enviada al grupo involucrado, para pedir la autoridad y la cooperación del extranjero con la práctica del trabajo y los esfuerzos encomendados.'

Btw, Adrian, I believe it's also called a "divorce application" in E&W now.
The "demanda" is usually the "petition" on both sides of the Atlantic.
https://www.massdivorceattorney.net/parties-to-divorce-cases... 'The parties to a divorce action are called a “plaintiff” and a “defendant”. The plaintiff is the spouse that commences the action for divorce and the defendant is the respondent spouse.'
USA: divorce case brought vs England & Wales: petition filed. NB in Scots law, it is an action for divorce to which the parties are the Pursuer & Defender.
