Hi everyone,

What does وطء mean in this context?

سوف تلدين أطفال كثر حتى تموتين من وطء ضجيجهم.

Hello there, I think you might translate it into "influence or pressure". because وطأة means وَقْعٌ or تأثير or ضغط شديد.
And also the verb وَطِئَ means ضغط, which is to press or to put pressure.
So it may be: You'll die from the pressure/the violence/the tensity of their noise?
من وطئ يعني بسبب

by their clamour (clamor)

…until you get exhausted/tired by their clamour (clamor)
Clamour: sound of many people speaking and shouting at the same time.
Ex: The pre-class clamour of children does not stop with the bell because some teachers have not turned up yet.
