I'm looking for the meaning of Matutino. I was thinking person in charge of the office or Bursar. Any suggestions? This is from a High School transcript from Santiago, Dominican Republic.

@Adoración It looks like an address to me: Colegio Utesiano de Estudios Integrados, Matutino de Santiago de los Caballeros...
For example, "Matutino de Santiago de los Caballeros." could be the name of a `pueblo, and so could "Matutino" on its own.
Also, it's written with an upper case initial letter. All of this leads me to suspect it could be a toponym, or part of the school name. So, I normally wouldn't translate it (unless instructed to do so).

I apologize! I saved my suggestion by mistake before I finished translating the example sentence. But then I didn't know how to edit my entry. All I can do is add it here: "Utesian Day School of Integrated Studies". Again, you should check whether it's appropriate to translate the name of the school; and that depends on many factors, as you most probably know already.

My take As it is part of the name of the school, I would not normally translate it. In English, "day school" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day_school) is probably the closest in meaning.

Diurno

matutino means that the attention is only on the day, vespertino in the evenings and noctuno at night.

The high school in mention only attends in the day. The real word should be:
Colegio Matutino de Estudios Integrados Santiago de Los Caballeros
o
Colegio de Estudios Integrados, el Matutino de Santiago de Los Caballeros .

Note In Spanish the place of a comma changes the true meaning of the word.

Like Adoración Bodoque Martínez said, the word "matutino" is referring to the school. When you read about schools in the Dominican Republic, they usually specify "matutino" and/or "vespertino" after their name. As far as I've seen, "liceos matutinos" offer both morning and afternoon sessions, so I would call it a "day school". However, I think you should consider whether you to fully translate the name of the school, provide the original name in parentheses, or just leave the original (maybe with a brief explanation).
