Это как-то подходит к новой версии? Там же присутствует доп. текст... - "on the return" и др.

При работе с неправильно установленной чашей уплотнительное кольцо чаши может вызывать избыточное трение, что приведет к перегреву и последующему гемолизу крови. Если это произойдет, то получаемые компоненты крови не богут считаться безопасными для возврата донору. Чтобы минимизировать риск возникновения подобных ситуаций, оператор должен следить за тем, чтобы при установке чаши позиционирующая головка вошла в захваты фиксатора в основании центрифуги.

This doesn't seem to have been written by a native so makes little sense, especially the bit you quote.
