8: Rental Fee and Compensation for Damaged Parts
When Party B returns the lease items, if Party A finds that the lease items are damaged or not the items included in same series before the unloading, Party A shall reject those items which shall continue to be charged with associated rental fee. Party A shall not provide any area or space for storage of those items. Party A shall not bear any additional costs incurred in this regard. Any losses or damages happened during offloading of the lease items at Party A's designated area shall be borne by Party B.
In case of loss or damage, Party B shall inform Party A in writing and unconditionally settle the damages accordingly. The rent price shall not be affected. Party B shall not do any additive or counteracting processing to the lease item. Upon completion of settlement, Party B shall acquire the ownership of the lease items indemnified and Party A shall terminate the calculation of the lease price.
