“Standards” means a level of operational, physical and technological standards for fitting out, equipping, maintaining, managing and operating a hotel that are equal to or in excess of those (a) of the Competitive Set hotels, (b) of other hotels awarded the local regulatory authority’s Four (4) star classifications, (c) being upheld from time to time at other hotels of the same rating in the region,
managed by the Operator; as well as (d) required by all applicable laws.
“Strata Sell” means the sale of any letting unit as a strata-titled unit; and “Strata Sale” and ““Strata Sold” have a corresponding meaning.
“Term” means the Initial Term and any extensions of the Initial Term made in accordance with Clauses 2.2 and 2.3.
“Uniform System” means the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI) by American Hotel & lodging Association, 11th Revised Edition or any subsequent revisions thereto.
“US$” means United States Dollars, the lawful currency of the United States of America.
“Valor” means Valor Hospitality Partners DMCC.
