planter with evergreen plants or foliage plants

A Blumenkisterl is a planter (-erl being the Austrian diminutive), and I would imagine that the "grün" indicates planters planted up with evergreen plants (that look good for the winter) or just foliage plants without flowers, as opposed to "blühend" which will be planted with flowering plants.

agree Trudy Peters : or just 'planter green' to keep it short like the original

small planter box, green plants, herbs, foliage

seems to indicate a smaller size box - not the large boxes usually found - I would probably try to ask or request an image
