German term

60 Sack a 25 kg netto

German to Spanish Tech/Engineering Manufacturing
This phrase appears in a milk health certificate. This certificate contains text in German too (in some parts of the document). The problem with this phrase is that I am not sure whether the phrase is completely written in German or partly in German and partly in English, since the word "sack" is an English word...The title before this phrase says "PACKING". Moreover, the workd "a", in the phrase, has a punctuation mark over it, which does not exist in English...HELP!!!!!!!

Many thanks in advance!!!

Lorena.

Discussion

Fernando Toledo Jun 13, 2006:
Pardon! doch ;-) aunque en este caso sería neto
Fernando Toledo Jun 13, 2006:
Por cierto, si no me equivoco neto no tiene plural
Juan Jacob Jun 13, 2006:
Pues sí: 60 sacos/costales de 25 kg de peso neto, ¿no?
Stuart Allsop Jun 13, 2006:
Any indication if the word "Sack" actually does refer to a sack full of some kind of procuct? If so, then I'd guess that it means something like "60 sacks, 25 kg net ea." Maybe.
