Italian term

allarmi non ritentivi

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Automation & Robotics Automatic packing machines
Gli Allarmi non Ritentivi
Si definiscono non ritentivi quegli allarmi che scompaiono allo scomparire della loro causa (senza utilizzare il tasto di acquisizione “ACK”).
I know "allarmi ritentivi" is *self-hold alarms*. Do you have any suggestions for *non ritentivi* ?
Thank you,
Manuela

to mean a self-release mechanism

also \"auto-release\" as in \"automatic release\"

I would opt for \"auto-release\" or \"automatic release\" I think they have wider adoption than \"self...\" which is often associated with a person, you know like self-serve...
