io metterei così..non c'è una traduzione esatta, ma tendono a spiegare (vedi tra parentesi) cosa intendono per tigrata.

Se cerchi in italiano cosa intendo per "tigrata" vedrai che si riferiscono alla varietà ligure e ha corrispondenze anche in inglese;)

tough one...I'd probably go for 'tiger' apricot variety (prunus armeniaca)

I would keep the 'tiger' reference, common for other fruit (peaches, figs).
and there IS a variety called Tiger, as I keep saying....
