Italian term

Previsione

Italian to English Law/Patents Environment & Ecology
Ok I know there are lots of kudoz entries and this can mean among other things forecast etc but within this context (a legal opinion for a services contract related to the environment) I'm just not sure. Help much appreciated, examples below where it appears throughout the document.

provision

In this case, "previsione" comes from "prevedere" = provide for. "Disposizione" is more commonly used in a legal context.
Peer comment(s):

agree Oliver Lawrence : or 'measure'. The last sentence in the context given makes me lean towards this answer, although it doesn't seem clear-cut (more context would've helped).

forecasting

In my opinion, here previsione has nothing to do with legal provisions. They speak of something planned and expected, an idea of something in the future that (even after some changes) is unacceptable. Hence, it must be discussed again in full or, as in the second paragraph, rejected.
