Letter regarding reimbursement of funds
This is in the subject line of a letter from CONSAP to a company in UK.
The Italian reads:
"Rimborso di somme affluite al Fondo di cui all'art. 1, comma 343 e ss., della legge 266/2005. Domanda numero ..."
I am unsure why "Fondo" is in capitals and wondered if this would actually translate as :
"Reimbursement of the sum paid into the Funds in accordance with Article. 1,..."
Or could this be that "Fondi" is used with "di" for another reason?

paid in to the fund referred to in article 1
It's not "sum paid in to the funds", it's "sums paid in to the fund." And Fondo has a capital F because some people capitalise nouns for no particular reason. The fund is to compensate investors who have been victims of fraud.

: I do think in this case that fund would be capitalized because is refers to the name of a specific fund.
