This has to do with EU fraud and inspections / audits so I dunno, literal translation could work but there must have been documents translated before. I havent found any, not sure if to call it a regional inspection unit or section. Pls see below thanks

DEL CONTROLLO PER LA LOMBARDIA
Colgo di buon grado l’invito ad illustrare l’esperienza della Sezione Controllo per la Regione Lombardia in materia di gestione dei fondi comunitari e delle erogazioni in agricoltura nell’ambito della Politica Agricola Comune.
La Sezione annualmente inseriva nel proprio cronoprogramma del controllo e delle indagini con referto alla Regione la verifica della regolarità sulle gestioni dei fondi comunitari nell’ambito del F.S.E. e del F.E.S.R. e delle erogazioni in agricoltura (P.A.C.).
A seguito dell’entrata in vigore del D.L.
174/2012 che ha introdotto il giudizio di parificazione sul rendiconto della Regione, la Sezione ha programmato la stesura di una specifica relazione sulla gestione dei fondi comunitari da allegare al giudizio di parifica (primo anno 2013).
