Sound *Dong*
There are a few meanings imaginable. Because its from a manga, it could be a comic-sound like dong. Besides that it could have the meaning of a "Mafia-Don" or Boss. Another possibility is the vietnamese currency Dong. More unlikely would be a Manga about the russian river called Don. But who knows...

bang or thud (depending on what's happening)
Since I can't see what's happening in the manga, I can surmise it to be something line this:
1) If a bomb or something loud sound goes off, in cartoons, it is usually translated with "bang."
2) When something or someone hits the floor really hard....In cartoons, it is usually translated with "thud."
