Name of a type of fridge? After checking quickly on google, my impression is that the term is a name of a type of fridge, so maybe it should not be translated?http://www.thermocold.no/index.php?groupid=91

cool room

Look at "http://www.thermocold.no/index.php?groupid=100", and you will see that Folkerom is more of a name than an accurate description.

agree Charles Ek : (S/b "cold room". A "cool room" describes a teenager's bedroom.) At the linked site: "Dette kjølerommet kalles Folkerommet og er et meget populært kjølerom for privathusholdningen. Det er et passe stort kjølerom som passer både hverdager og til fest!"

Precisely why I felt Cool Room would be a cool name, if not an accurate product description...
agree William [Bill] Gray : But "coolroom" fits the bill ("Bill"), Charles! See my answer (apologies to Per!) on the question as posed with a capital letter!
