Cross-talk? I think this is what is meant here. One definition: "(Cross-talk equipment translates one radio frequency signal to another, allowing radios with different frequencies to communicate in limited situations.)" http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/homesec/RL32939.pdf ). Would appreciate a second opinion, though.
