ProZ.com powwow: 'Christmas' powwow

December 1, 2012, 1:00 pm
United KingdomCardiffIn personEnglish
Hi everyone,

This powwow is proving particularly difficult to organise because when you throw Christmas and rugby season into the equation, many restaurants will not take bookings for tables at all or are already fully-booked or charging extortionate prices.

We're now booked into La Lupa in Canton at 1pm. I've made a provisional booking for 12 and we need to pre-order from the menu on their website one week before. Have a look at:

http://www.laluparestaurant.com/Pages/ALaCarteMenu.aspx

...and let me know by the last week of November what you would like to eat.

Hope to see lots of old and new faces there :-)

Best wishes,

Vicky

Change of venue Oct 30, 2012

Due to the powwow being held on a match day and the problems this causes when booking a table for a large party, we've moved the powwow to La Lupa in Canton since 1. they allowed us to book a table, when many other restaurants in the city didn't and 2. they didn't say we had to have a 3-course set lunch at £28-30, like many other restaurants in the city did. See you there I hope!
