Hello!
My name is Vladislav Alekseev. I am a Russian emigrant living in Austria since 1990s. Russian is my native tongue. I am doctor of natural sciences in geology. As academic scientist I dealt with proofreading, editing, and writing different Russian texts for many years. Among them are articles, abstracts, proposals, project applications, reports, reviews, speeches, lectures, guidebooks, etc. I also write stories. Many of my works were published in Russian and English.

Later I left geology and changed my profession. I became enthusiastic about medicine, care of sick people. After graduating professional training courses and receiving certificates, I worked in the fields of nursing and ambulance service. Closer to retirement I founded my own company ALEK aimed at software development for medicine. Another direction of my activity is the work with texts: proofreading, editing, and to a lesser extent translation. I am not a certified translator and therefore I prefer to focus on editing and proofreading Russian texts. I do it carefully and with great attention to "trifles".
