Bio

At my first position as an in-house translator, I worked extensively with financial reports for investment companies based in Luxembourg, France, and Germany. This continues to represent the bulk of my work as a freelancer. That said, I have extensive experience working with topics relating to gastronomy (i.e. catering menus), games (e.g. poker and chess), and contracts (e.g. articles of association, legal notifications, etc.).

One of my first individual projects as a freelancer involved proofreading an academic work on national cybersecurity translated from Russian. For another project, I translated a popular science book on cryptology and its applications to the blockchain technology. Some of the most fun that I have ever had was translating the subtitles for a televised series on WSOP champion João Vieira.

As a translator, I pride myself on my ability to research reference documents as well as my commitment to communicating pro-actively with my clients: no email is left unanswered.

I work with Trados, XTM, memoQ, Across, and SmartCat regularly, but if your company needs something else, don't hesitate to ask.

If I don't feel that I am suited to help with your project, I will also do my best to recommend a more suitable professional.

Hope to meet you soon!
