It would depend on the copy point the marketer is trying to emphasize because sentire can mean both to feel and to smell, among other senses that can be experienced, etc.

sentire can extend to all the senses (depending on context)
In this sense, when a bathroom has just been cleaned, you can experience the smell of clean

Questo è un altro suggerimento: "to tell a clean bathroom" significa letteralmente "riconoscere un bagno pulito".

Siccome questa cosa che stai traducendo è uno spot... musicalmente tell e smell suonano meglio come slogan, rispetto a see e smell.

Magari rende meglio l'idea pubblicitaria che sta alla base della traduzione, pur perdendo parte del significato letterale?
"as a matter of fact, you can tell and smell a clean bathroom!"
