In the qualification phase of the current contest an entry is automatically moved into the next round when it receives 3 net positive votes (yes votes minus no votes).
Hi Enrique,
Does it mean that all the entries can be qualified for the next round?
Dmitrii
Hi Dmitrii
You are right, theoretically all entries could make it into the next round, even though it is a very unlikely outcome.
Cheers,

Who are allowed to vote? | Jun 27, 2007 |
Dear ildiko,
At this stage site members having the corresponding language pair among their "working" or "interest" pairs will be able to express their peer-grading (whether they think an entry could qualify for the next round or not) of as many entries as they want.
Kind regards,

When I click on 'vote now', I get to a screen inviting me to edit the translation I submitted. Am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks Dmitrii and Anna for reporting this. We updated the software and this bug was introduced. It should be solved by now.
Sorry for the inconveniences.

Yesterday I saw this language pair in the qualification stage but today it's again in the submission stage.
The same thing happened to the Hungarian entries. For a while, I could see the entries and the buttons, but by the time I found out who can vote, it all went back to submission stage and I can only see my own submission (and I *could* edit it--not that I want to).

Hi everybody:
Once an entry has qualified, does it get removed from the voting/pending page? Thanks!

Dear Henar,
Once an entry is qualified, it is taken away from the qualification panel.
Thanks to everyone for participating!

Hello,
I have posted an entry for the translation contest (French), but my identity is not hidden, therefore no available yes/no buttons either. What to do?Many thanks. Oana
You are the only one that sees the identity of your entry | Jun 28, 2007 |
Dear Oana,
Your identity is visible only to you in this round, no matter what you have chosen as regards your visibility if you entry does not win.
No one is able to see it. Post owners only see their own entries.
Kind regards,

Six and more entries | Jun 28, 2007 |
Hi Florencia and Enrique,
According to the contest rules "Only those pair languages with more than six entries will pass on to the qualification round of voting by peers."
However, although there are 6 entries in English-Arabic, 7 entries in English-Romanian and 6 in Indonesian-English already, the qualification stage in these pairs has not begun. Just curious why.
Thanks,
Larissa

Dear members,
The 3rd ProZ.com contest submission phase has finished and now the qualification round will begin!
The qualification phase will only consist of those language pairs with more than six entries; however, language pairs with less than six entries will still have the opportunity to participate until the qualification round is over.
Once the qualification phase finishes, the voting phase will begin for those entries that have made it through the qualification round and for those language pairs with at least three entries.
Thank you all for participating in this 3rd ProZ.com translation contest!
Kind regards,

Hi Larissa,
The qualification stage in those pairs will never begin, those entries will go directly to the voting phase.

Hi,
Two days ago I posted and have to repeat it: there are no buttons for voting and the only entry visible to me is my own.
How are we supposed to vote? =(
