French term

bulles fondantes

French to English Marketing Wine / Oenology / Viticulture wine & spirits
Sounds yummy... how would these bubbles be described in a US-directed marketing text on wine (I'm figuring a sparkling wine)?

melting bubbles

... or bubbles that melt on the tongue (not 'in the mouth')

I think they're referring to those delightful soft bubbles that just sort of melt away as you savour them... as distinct from the vulgar 'fizzy' ones that prick your tongue!

And I AM a drinker !!! :-)))

(wine) bubbling in the mouth

Well I am not a drinker. But I find the idea of wine bubbling in the mouth quite intriguing
