English term

"logo-ed" brand

English to French Marketing Textiles / Clothing / Fashion The Luxury Market in India
Bonjour,

Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider pour la traduction de "logo-ed" ?
Je n'en vois pas bien le sens et la traduction encore moins.

Le contexte est le suivant :

There needs to be an Indian driven approach to succeed in the Indian market. … Indian consumers are certainly attracted to the international, ‘logo-ed’ brand, but with local relevance. In the luxury segment, we have seen Indian-ness integrated into the product offering whether sarees by Hermès or the bandhgala by Canali. This strategy of ‘made for India’ needs to be a consistent feature of all relevant touch points.

Merci !

merci !
neutral Sheila Wilson : I don't necessarily see a quality connotation here - just well-known enough to be recognised by its logo

IMHO, "In the luxury segment...Indian-ness..." is explanatory of the "‘logo-ed’ brand, but with local relevance" bit, so it can be assumed that they are referring to prestigious brands. Also, international brands usually are prestigious brands (Hermès).
neutral emiledgar : with Sheila; no connotation of quality, just known to many./ but logo-ed itself does not refer to quality or prestige.
