Deutsch > Englisch

Kochen/Kulinarisches
"werden Basilikum, Thymian, Rosmarin, Estragon usw. unmittelbar nach der Ernte destilliert. Die gewonnenen ätherischen Öle werden mit Olivenöl zu Würzölen komponiert."
I have spoken to a few native English speakers and got the suggestions
spiced oils
seasoning oil
infused oil
But no one could tell me the most common term, since they did not really know about that sort of oil.
Thanks
Gunter

Infused Oil
I would definitely go for this one. This is what I have seen in several cookbooks, stores, etc.

: As described by Guenter, the essential oils are first extracted; then, in a separate step, added to the oil being flavored--not infused (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infusion), which involves steeping herbal matter in oil.

Don´t know WHICH Google you use, I used com.ar but the German Google shows 42.600.000 hits!! And they use both spices and herbs for recipes.

Lis Liesicke
: it only shows 42 million hits if you don't enter "spiced oil" (which then gets 24,000 hits as Maries says)
You should put the phrase in inverted commas - then you only get hits that have exactly that phrase and not spiced or oil somewhere in the text

You are right on the 42 million hits! Still, "spiced oils" show 7.7 million on Google.de - can´t insert screenshot here, sorry, but may provide it by mail.

essential oil
Seems to fit your description.
COOKING WITH ESSENTIAL OILS
A renaissance in the arena of food preparation is about to emerge. It is the exciting and innovative art of combining essential oils with food. The art of distilling essential oils from plants began 6,000 years ago with the ancient Egyptians. For those of you who are not quite sure what essential oils are let me give you a brief explanation.
Essential oils are the chemical constituents found in aromatic plants (plants are chemical factories) that exist to protect the plant from invading organisms and microbes; to help it heal from wounds; to carry nutrients to the plant cells (as the blood of humans does); to attract certain insects and repel others and so on. When plants are distilled (or cold-pressed in the case of citrus oils), the resulting essential oil is far more potent than when they are dried as herbs.

Mix olive, basil, and oregano oils in a frying pan.

: Essential oils are generally distilled from their source plants, and used in perfumes. They are diluted in a carrier oil for cooking or massage, not used directly.

Discussion
http://www.exploratorium.edu/cooking/seasoning/kitchen/recip...
Since most seem to agree on infused oils I did some research on that, however, not sure yet.
Wikipedia says: An infusion is a very simple chemical process used with botanicals that are volatile and dissolve readily, or release their active ingredients easily, in water, oil or alcohol. The botanicals are typically dried herbs, flowers or berries. The liquid is typically boiled (or brought to another appropriate temperature) and then poured over the herb, which is then allowed to steep in the liquid for a period of time. The liquid may then be strained or the herbs otherwise removed from the liquid.
That is definitely not what they mean here. Instead the fresh herbs are distilled which leaves them with essential oil which is then mixed in tiny quantities with the carrier oil, in this case olive oil.
