Spanish term
Convocante and Convocadas
Both the translator and I are struggling with a legal text. Should "Convocante" be "Plaintiff" and "Convocadas" "Defendant" or are there other solutions?
This is a lawsuit. Thanks in advance!

Otherwise, requesting party vs. requested parties might also work outside of letters rogatory.
Convocante. Persona natural o jurídica quien solicita al Centro de Conciliación o a un Conciliador la realización de una audiencia de conciliación para resolver uno o varios conflictos con un tercero. Convocado. Citado, solicitado.
In addition to arbitration, the alternative dispute resolution methods available in Colombia are mediation and appointment of a third party in charge of deciding the dispute, called a “friendly mediator.”

: Ahaaa, you have divined that this is a pre-trial mediation. Amazing. But so also is the lack of context and the method by which the "correct" answer has been chosen
