crèdits (here)

Catalan to English Other Government / Politics

DRAFT: The total amount of (credits?) allocated to the remuneration of civil service administration and services staff for specific supplements, productivity supplements, or as payment for extraordinary services, shall be the result of subtracting, from the total remuneration to staff members, the sum of basic remuneration plus work location supplement plus, where applicable, transitory personal supplements.

This is at an early draft stage, as it sounds terribly...but what I am not sure about is the reference to "crèdits" and also that the calculation is translated correctly.

There is a possibility that the "credits" may refer to the system by which the Generalitat makes money over to the universities....but I am not sure.

Any help appreciated:-)

I am of the opinion that maybe 'crdits' should be translated by 'funding', as otherwise it seems as if the Gen. is lending money to the university.
