Para fotografiar la naturaleza, la vida salvaje y los viajes, habitualmente usamos con dos sistemas fotográficos distintos: 35 mm (paso universal) y 4,5 x 6 (formato medio).

35 mm Las cámaras réflex de este formato son las mejores para fotografia de la naturaleza y viajes. Entre sus ventajas, destaca su fácil transporte (un peso reducido es muy importante cuando uno debe realizar largas excursiones por zonas montañosas, o yendo de viaje), disponen de una ámplia gama de accesorios (objetivos, sistemas de contol remoto...) y sus precios suelen ser relativamente asequibles.

It provides some convenience and advantages of the 35 mm format, but with the additional option to rapidly switch to a full panorama format without changing film. Unlike the \"panorama effect\" produced with some cameras by horizontally masking a 35 mm frame, the Hasselblad XPan provides a full frame panorama format, the width of the panorarma images being 65 mm, similar to medium format.

The Hasselblad XPan incorporates a dual-format facility providing a full panorama 24 x 65 mm format as well as a conventional 24 x 36 mm format on the same film. This innovative camera offers all the convenience and advantages of the 35 mm format, but provides the option to rapidly switch to the full panorama format, without changing film. It becomes, therefore, the first and only dual-format camera on the market that expands the format instead of masking it, ensuring that every exposure utilises the full area of the film. In addition, the 65 mm width of the full panorama images is similar to the medium format.

35 mm, medium format, or large format? A large format negative does not have to be enlarged as much as a 35 mm negative, and the results are therefore much sharper. Most photographers would agree on that. However, our test shows that 35 mm can be almost as sharp as large format, if you take the photographs correctly and choose the right film.

Serveix qualsevol càmera amb objectiu que se li pugui enroscar una lent supletòria, però aquí ens referirem només a les de 35 mm. (pas universal) de tipus \"réflex\", és a dir, allò que es veu pel visor és exactament el que sortirà; a més, té la possibilitat d\'intercanviar els seus objectius i la qualitat d\'imatge és molt més bona.

En fotografia s\'utilitzen tres sistemes: 35 mm o pas universal, APS (Avanced Photo System) o compacte, i el digital (permet guardar les fotos en disquet, CD o memòria flaix, i en format digital). El de 35 mm (negatiu de 24 x 36 mil·límetres) és el més estés. L\'APS es diferencia de l\'anterior pel seu negatiu més menut (17 x 30 mil·límetres) i permet càmeres més menudes, però el revelatge és més lent i més car i la qualitat d\'impressió és menor (es nota més a les ampliacions). Tots els models empren rodet de 35 mm. El transport de la pel·lícula, passar a la foto següent, és automàtic en totes les mostres. En canvi, el rebobinatge és automàtic només en Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Ricoh, i Olympus. Els models de Canon, Minolta, Ricoh i Olympus disposen de la funció d\'autodisparador als 10 segons, que, permet al fotògraf aparéixer en la foto en donar-li temps a incorporar-se \"a escena\".
