Note from asker:
According to my text and seeing some web pages, it seem s to me that "jigging" could be the way. My text says that you move with the bait up and down through the column of water. Any objections? |
It seems there are really a lot of options...e.g. http://www.takemefishing.org/fishing/fishopedia/fishing-glossary ; see term jigging |

: awful ref given by Pavel, and given the context provided by Lubomir I fail to see why this'd be such a good answer...unless you can back it up with a bit more substance...// was just fishing for proper substance :-) ... 't does look better this way

Not really sure why you disagree if you don't provide a better answeer. I am sure about what "na plavanou" means in Czech, and "float fishing" is self-explanatory, just find it on Google or in this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coarse_angling
