In a multiple choice tourist questionnaire
14. Quels sont selon vous les 5 principaux atouts touristiques de XXXX
La situation en Bretagne, l'identité et l'attractivité touristique de la Bretagne.
I have encountered this word a lot in the architecture/construction field and you can often use 'attractivity' for it. However, here you can't. In fact its almost tautologous, because the attraction already exists in the word 'touristique'.
Does anyone have any suggestions. Should I use 'tourist attractiveness', which I personally don't like, and for which I can only find 294 ghits on Google UK?

tourist appeal
Although "attraction" is the first thing that came to my mind, too, I think that "appeal" might be better suited here.
The text is talking about Brittany' identity and tourist appeal (or appeal to tourists).
Best,

Philippa Smith
: I'd use "appeal" because surely you need "tourist attractions" to translate the "atouts touristiques" in the previous line.

Glen McCulley
: i read "tourist attraction" as a single place. Many tourist attractions together in one area would give that area *a certain kind of* "attractivité"

sightseeing charms
Plutôt que "attraction", ou "attractiveness" (des mots pas très attractifs !), "charms" m'a l'air de convenir ici.
Mais "tourist charms" ne convient pas - d'où "sightseeing".
