Discussion

skin-brightening agents I think agent is correct here

DS Trans Sep 7, 2013:
Thank you for your response. Since it's more of a product description than tagline, agents does make more sense (but I also left emulsion just in case). I have been doing cosmetic product focus groups for ages, and I know that for the makers of these products, these descriptive phrases are extremely important. In the US, the ones who can afford it pay an enormous amount of money to get the consumers' opinions about this sort of thing.

Hi Denise. Thanks for your help.
After a brief product description, there are 2 or 3 main ingredients listed.
I like your suggestion, but instead of calling it an "emulsion", can I say "Agents"?
DS Trans Sep 7, 2013:
Lynda--I was unclear whether the phrase would be used as a sort of "tagline", or prominent description of the product:

The description for this one is Brightening Moisture Lotion.

If so, I was going to add "porcelain effect brightening emulsion". But if the phrase isn't intended to be such a tagline, I don't think it's appropriate. Thank you
