Italian term
biasato
Italian to English
Art/Literary
Materials (Plastics, Ceramics, etc.)
This is from a description of ceramics in 18th century Venice. There is a photograph of a large white vase with the upper edge folded outwards and "crimped", painted flowers and birds, two handles, and other decorative elements.
The description says: "Vaso biasato, Venezia, manifattura Vezzi, 1724-1727"
Does anyone know what "biasato" means?

biansato/ with double handle
It could be "biansato" instead of "biasato". Biansato is a vase "con doppia ansa", so "with two handles"
