Italian term

giunge abbastanza in attesa

Italian to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature essay on Plutarch\'s comments on Hesiod\'s works - divine retribution and punishment
Context:

I understand the phrase as a whole, but what stumps me is the "giunge abbastanza in attesa"
Could anyone shed any light onto its meaning please? I would love to provide at least an attempt but at the moment, nothing comes to mind :(
