No Concordance search after java update

Hi!
I just updated Java today and now the Concordance search does not work in Studio 2011. I'm working on existing projects for which the search function worked fine before.
The Concordance search window lists the TMs that I'm using and says 'Enter text to search' but there's no actual search box and I can't write anything - the whole thing is just one big, blank box.
I run Windows Vista 64 bit but my browser is 32 bit (I think?! - Mozilla Firefox).
Any suggestions?

remove the java update Oct 21, 2013

Hi, I had the same problem. I just removed the java update and it all got back to normal.

If you continue to have problems after following the article please log a ticket with the SDL Support team.

- If you have a support contract please log a ticket through your SDL Account.

- If you do not have a support contract click here Solution Finder and then select the 'Java Problems' branch of the solution Finder and complete the online form to submit a ticket to SDL Support.

removing the update is not an option Oct 21, 2013

Sadly, removing the update completely is not really an option since it's necessary to run my online banking and access to official sites such as tax payments.

removed 64 bit - problem solved Oct 21, 2013

Alright, I removed the 64 bit version, rebooted my system and it looks like the problem is solved

Hi there,
I'm facing the same issue here. It's quite sad how much time we lose with installing and uninstalling java versions to get Trados working. It's a production tool and while we can't use it properly we're wasting time and money.
