Surely one is sufficient! I have Trados. I use it and am frequently asked by customers to do so. I bought Deja Vu because I was told it was better. I never used it, because I was already familiar with Trados, the learning curve was too steep and I was never asked to use it by any customers. So I'm sticking with one. You can gain a huge amount of productivity by buying one system. The advantages of a second system are, to me at least, dubious! | | |

It depends if you count dictionaries on your hard disk, or include both TM and MT SWs. Personally I hate everything about Trados - the smug company ethic ("we are the industry standard, the best"), the plethora of features (mainly useless from my viewpoint), the fact that so many agencies demand it, the excessive (in my opinion) cost... I basically use 4 dictionaries on my PC, Wordfast and (embarrassingly) an old version of Systran, and I find they help me get the job done 100% of th...
