Average Mar 31, 2010

If I add up all three months, I'd say about average.

Breaking all records Mar 31, 2010

This year, and this month in particular, has been off the scale!

I'm heartened by the results though. For all we read about dwindling prices and paucity of work, it appears that most people are having an average to good year. Which can't be bad, especially in current uncertain economic times.

Average Mar 31, 2010

For the amount of pages translated.
The exchange rate of the US dollar may improve or worsen the financial average: 60% were jobs paid in USD.

I take as much work as I can handle and refuse the rest, as per usual, which makes for a pretty average start of year. As I work for agents, my work flow is pretty much constant.

Happy I went freelance! Mar 31, 2010

This is my first quarter ever with my own business and I've had great success, more than I could ever have hoped for - great move to go freelance.

Miserable Mar 31, 2010

My life turned down. For years I have been translating books, even three at one time, but this year everything is different, I am truly freelancer again. Would be happy to have any literary translation again. There is one project ahead of me, but I am a bit superstitious. Good luck to everyone!

I've been consistently busy Mar 31, 2010

My earnings are down, but they have been more consistent month-to-month.

Better than last year but not great Apr 1, 2010

I'm accustomed to a lot more work than I've been getting in the last two years, especially in the first quarter. The good news is that I have gained three new clients.

Two large jobs came on on the last day of the quarter--one from a new client and the other from a client who was new last year.
