Once at a corporate New Year party I was given a mock prize - a plaque with my name inscribed "To the Best Translator of Fictional Script"

My BA Dissertation on Legal Language in Translation was highly appreciated and I was awarded at an International Conference in Romania for translation of poetry - from Romanian into Greek (Greek is not my native language). At that stage I was still thinking that translators can translate well into another language than their native language. For this reason I don't consider that award as a very important one.

A few years ago my local association, EPITA, decided to give me an award for being a founding member. I am thankful for that recognition.
