When I have "yes" in the source segment, I get a very looong sentence as a 100% match which is not even in the TM. How can I get Wordfast (Classic) not to propose such a nonsense? It is rather annoying to have to cancel maybe ten times in a table such a long sentence. Same behaviour for "No" but then I get "Name" and at least this is shorter... Thank you very much!

I really wonder where Wf gets this whole sentence from Otherwise, this would have been obviously the first step to do. Thank you, anyway!

I remember Yves Champollion stating that Wf si not good at one-word segments. In my experience, the problem with one-word segments is usually the opposite: there is a 100% match in the TM, but Wordfast fails to serve it. I've never seen a case where something is served as 100% match and the source segment is not in the TM. How could that possibly be?

What you describe defies all logics.

Yes, it's a 100% match, I checked once more. That's why I started this thread, I can't believe it! I never have translated a "Yes" with a sentence of about 30 words

Christel Zipfel wrote: I never have translated a "Yes" with a sentence of about 30 words That doesn't mean it's not in the TM. Any number of accidents can cause it to get in there. Did you actually have a look at the TM directly? AFAIK it's a tab delimited txt, you can just search for "Yes[tab]" in it.
