Mili tlmocnici,

som studentka Prekladatelstva a tlmocnictva a v suvislosti s mojou diplomovkou by som na Vas mala jednu otazku:

Ked chodievate tlmocit, tlmocite castejsie simultanne alebo konzeuktivne. Prip. aky si myslite, ze je momentalne vyvoj Slovenku - je simultanne tlmocenie na vzostupe?

Ako by ste precentualne zhodnotili pomer vyuzitia simultanneho a konzekutivneho tlmocenia na SK?

Dakujem pekne.

Petra

Consecutive v. simultaneous May 14, 2011

I'm not based in Slovakia, so can't really comment on trends in Slovakia. However, in my opinion, there are always more consecutive than simultaneous interpreting assignments on offer for freelance interpreters regardless of the country where you are based.

My two cents.

R.

Hello,

thanks for your post. Yeah, I think that, too, however, some of my university professors disagree.
