Source text - English 1.PURPOSE:
1.1 Define XYZ’s (and its subsidiaries as listed within the Quality Manual Purpose and Scope) policy for establishing the Company’s commitment to quality and laying the foundation for the Quality System.
2.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
2.1 This policy is the responsibility of the President.
3.0 POLICY:
3.1 Quality Policy
3.1.1 “XYZ (or) XYZ Puerto Rico, Inc. will be recognized as providing the best value to its customers through quality leadership and continuous improvement in all our products and services.”
3.1.2 The Company Quality Policy is implemented and maintained by management with executive responsibility.
3.1.3 The Quality Policy is presented and explained to all employees during initial company orientations and is displayed throughout all Company facilities.
3.1.4 Company personnel are
periodically questioned on their understanding of the Quality Policy principals. The Quality Policy is reviewed during Quality System Regulation, ISO 13485:1996 / Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC and Canada Medical Device Regulation refresher training sessions.
3.1.5 Periodic reviews of the total Quality System are conducted, as indicated in Company procedures, to ensure that the intent of the policy is being met.
3.1.6 The Company’s commitment to and ability to support the Quality Policy is evaluated at the management review meeting.
3.2 Quality Objectives
3.2.1 Provide world-class quality products and services by striving to exceed our customers’ expectations. This objective shall be measured via the analyses provided in the Monthly Quality Assurance Summary.
3.2.2 Maintain a formal quality system meeting requirements by conducting Internal Audits and maintaining 3rd party certification by an accredited agency.
3.2.3 Foster an atmosphere of continuous process improvement and problem intervention by posting the results of the Material Report Analysis, distributing the Monthly Quality Assurance Summary to management, and reviewing all quality objectives during the annual Management Review Meetings.
3.2.4 Provide education and training to all employees either through internally held training sessions or through the Company’s External Education Assistance Program. This objective will be measured via the internal audits.
3.2.5 Communicate our mission and Quality Policy to all employees via annual ISO/QSR training. This objective will be measured via the internal audits.
3.2.6 Develop relationships with our suppliers that emphasize continuous improvement in product quality, service and support. Material Report Analysis, Supplier History, and the Corrective/Preventive Action Report shall measure this objective.
3.2.7 Develop quality/supplier agreements with all our OEM customers. Status of agreements to be reviewed at the annual Management Review Meetings.

3.1.2 La Política de Calidad de la Compañía es implementada y mantenida por la gerencia con responsabilidad ejecutiva.
3.1.3 La Política de Calidad de la Compañía es presentada y explicada a todos los empleados durante las orientaciones iniciales y está expuesta a través de todas las plantas de la Compañía.
3.1.4 El personal de la Compañía es cuestionado periódicamente sobre el entendimiento de los principios de la Política de Calidad. La Política de Calidad es revisada durante las sesiones de re-entrenamiento Regulación de Sistema de Calidad, ISO 13485:1996/ Directiva de Dispositivo Médico 93/42/EEC y Regulación de Dispositivo Médico Canadiense.
3.1.5 Se conducen revisiones periodicas del Sistema de Calidad total, como lo indican los procedimientos de la Compañía, para asegurar que la intención de la política se está siendo lograda.
3.1.6 El compromiso y la habilidad de la Compañía para apoyar la Política de Calidad es evaluada en la reunión gerencial de revisión.
3.2 Objetivos de Calidad
3.2.1 Proveer productos y servicios de clase mundial a través de un esfuerzo para sobrepasar las expectativas de los clientes. Este objetivo puede ser medido a través del Resumen Mensual de Control de Calidad.
3.2.2 Mantener un sistema de calidad formal que cumpla con los requerimientos a través de Auditorías Internas y manteniendo certificación de un tercero por una agencia acreditada.
3.2.3 Adoptar una atmósfera de mejoramiento continuo del proceso e intervención del problema publicando los resultados del Reporte Análisis de Materiales, distribuyendo el Resumen Mensual del Control de Calidad a la gerencia y revisando todos los objetivos de calidad durante las Reuniones Gerenciales de Revisión.
3.2.4 Proveer educación y entrenamiento a todos los empleados ya sea a través sesiones internas de entrenamiento o a través del Programa Externo de Ayuda de la Educación de la Compañía. Este objetivo será medido a través de auditorías internas.
3.2.5 Comunicar nuestra misión y Política de Calidad a todos los empleados a través del entrenamiento anual ISO/ QSR. Este objetivo será medido a través de auditorías internas.
3.2.6 Desarrollar relaciones con nuestros suplidores que enfaticen el mejoramiento continuo en calidad del producto, servicio y ayuda. Este objetivo puede ser medido a través Reporte de Análisis de Material, Historial del Suplidor y Reporte de Acción Correctiva/ Preventiva.
3.2.7 Desarrollar acuerdos calidad/suplidor con todos nuestros clientes OEM. El status de los acuerdos se revisarán anualmente en las Reuniones Gerenciales de Revisión.
