My native language is Portuguese (Brazil), and I am fluent in English.
I have been involved with positions related to languages since 2012.
My first job has been as an onsite bilingual telephone operator (and interpreter) for Embratel, a famous telecommunications company in Brazil.
Since then, I have worked for other companies as a freelancer, both with customer service and translations.
I have worked for Clariness, a German company specialized in clinical research, as a customer service operator as well, online. For Clariness, I also have translated some templates and sections of their website into Portuguese.
As a translator (and proofreader), I have worked for famous agencies, such as Gengo.com and Straker Translations. I also have translated for Idea Translations and Go Global!.
I have extensive experience with translating about several subjects.
I know how to translate websites: preserve placeholders, names of buttons, etc.
Aside from that, I have general translation skills and experience about tourism, e-commerce, law, manufacturing, and mobile apps (gaming, quizzes, etc).
I know how to translate menus, sections (such as FAQ), and settings of applications. I have experience with using online workbenches for translating.
I also have experience with proofreading texts in Portuguese: finding mistakes in vocabulary and grammar, so I correct them later.
