Bio

I have lived, studied and worked in Mexico and the United States. I studied to be an ESL teacher and later computer programming in Mexico City. For a few years I worked as a teacher and programmer. Eventually, I transitioned completely to computer programming. I am starting out in the translation field. I studied Legal and Business translation at the university of Arizona and medical translation at a school called Trágora located in Granada Spain. All the courses I took were online. I have done translation volunteer work for the International Federation of the Red Cross and for Illinois Legal Aid Online and many other non-profit organizations in the United Satates.

The fact that I studied, lived and worked in Mexico gives me the advantage of having an excellent understanding of Mexican culture and the Spanish language. This in turn can be very helpful when translating from English to Mexican Spanish.
